Our Process

Our Process

Midland Health’s goal is to help you host a successful flu shot clinic. We take care of the details so you don’t have to worry about them.  Our process is seamless and straightforward.  We provide a detailed schedule and promotion plan to our clients during the planning stages of the clinic.  Below is an outline of our process.

Planning Your Clinic

Once you’ve determined to whom you want to offer the clinic (e.g. employees 18 year or older, contractors, seasonal employees, retirees, tenants in your building, etc.), we’ll help you figure out the number of vaccines to order.  We’ll discuss specific date(s), time(s), place(s) and number(s) of clinicians, etc., and give you a quote, followed by a contract that you’ll review/approve.

Midland Health will appoint an experienced manager to work with a representative from your company.  We’ll review key dates and responsibilities.  Employers often want someone on site at the flu shot clinic to greet and register employees.  However, Midland Heath can also provide this service.

We’ll set up your online appointment tool and your employees will have access to schedule their appointments and get a copy of their consent form and flu vaccination information.  You’ll have access to the online tool to monitor participation levels.

Promoting & Onboarding

You’ll receive a customized Employee Onboarding Tool Kit to help you promote your on site flu shot clinic.  Midland Health will provide a suggested schedule and promotional task list that includes when and how managers should endorse and kick off promotion of the on site flu shot clinic.  Our goal is to help you register as many employees as possible.

Preparing & Processing

Prior to your clinic, we’ll work with you to finalize vaccination quantity and confirm details of the clinic.  A representative from your company will meet the clinician on site before the start of the clinic to ensure the clinic is set up and ready to open at the designated time.

The clinician brings the vaccines and all equipment/supplies to administer the shots.  Your company’s representative (or Midland’s administrator) greets employees, confirms appointments and/or registers walk-ins, asks them to complete a consent form and hands them any pre/post immunization materials.  The clinician welcomes participants into the immunization area, may review their photo ID (if required), receives their consent form, and administers the vaccination.

Wrap Up & Feedback

After the clinic is complete, the Midland Health clinician is responsible for removing everything they brought on site.  You’re invited to take an online survey to tell us about your experience, and your account manager will follow up to debrief on the event.
